Why did my epoxy turn yellow?

The epoxy resin can be used to build up profound depths. Each flood coat should not exceed 1/4". Attempting to pour thicker could cause the epoxy to generate excessive heat, which can result in more air bubbles, possibly cracking and shrinkage.  Ensure you wait at least 4 hours between pours to allow sufficient drying times? Even though it is clear by epoxy standards, it does have a very slight amber tone.

Note that this color is virtually unnoticeable in depths up to 1/2” thick. The color of the epoxy can become noticeable in greater depths especially over light colored surfaces.
